INSPECTION
Providing quality assurance and quality control for civil construction projects including highway maintenance, natural gas pipeline construction, bridge construction.
Clients include Williams Northwest Pipeline, Northern Natural Gas, Washington Department of Transportation, King County Parks Division, City of Snoqualmie WA, City of Newcastle WA.
Projects include wetland and waterway mitigation and restoration, trail construction, state highway and bridge paving and maintenance, interstate natural gas pipeline construction and maintenance, erosion and sediment control monitoring, storm water (SWPPP) monitoring and reporting, stream restoration and monitoring.

EG Inspection is a certified veteran-owned business providing environmental consulting for construction monitoring and compliance, with many years of experience as an inspector for natural gas pipeline construction projects where regulatory oversight is extensive. The result is a significant knowledge and familiarity of construction processes and effective mitigations to avoid/minimize impacts to the environment, as well as refined skills to interpret and implement permitting requirements from the regulatory agencies.
On-site inspection is often augmented with aerial surveys (using drones) to obtain accurate representations of site conditions. Imagery (video and photo) acquired by drone is unrivaled in its ability to capture subtle elements that may otherwise go undetected from the ground. This aerial perspective is becoming a vital component to inspection programs, delivering an effective and safe means to obtain accurate depictions of site conditions.

More than ten years of experience as an inspector on construction projects with unique technical challenges and environmental sensitivity. Projects are typically associated with natural gas pipeline construction; others have included stormwater conveyance systems, engineered log jams, fish-passage stream restoration, and bridges.
Projects often encountered stream and wetland crossings, urban/residential settings, difficult terrain and variable weather conditions. Skilled at interpreting project drawings, contract documents, specifications, permit stipulations, environmental plans, and aerial imagery using drones. Possess administrative, interpersonal, and decision-making skills and a familiarity of appropriate procedures to reduce or mitigate those impacts.
